Chapter 33

My heart was pounding like it was threatening to escape my chest as Victor let out a low loud growl. His black eyes glued to Xander as he shook violently in his grasp. I was momentarily taken aback as I noticed he was without a shirt, watching his muscles clench as I felt his pure rage roll through the air. He began walking away with Xander pretty much on the verge of pissing himself but he did not look at me, did not even acknowledge my existence. As they left I felt the air turn cold and stiff as I felt oddly hurt. I was thankful that he had stepped in, knowing the danger I had been in but why would he not even look at me? I frowned as I stared at where they had disappeared too wondering if he would hurt Xander, a part of me hoped he would.
