Thankfully I managed to hide that one thing from her and was able to get rid of it while I was discharged. We got home safely, and I was expecting her to go back home as soon as we got to my doorstep, but she stood firmly.

"I think you need to rest now, Layla." I said, looking at her with concern.

She had tried so much for me and I was grateful for this. it was hard to see a friend who would stand by you, the way she did.

"I can have my rest with you. Since when did it seem like I do not have my rest when we come here?" She asked as she placed her right hand on her waist.

"Well, I mean... I am certain you are coming here to watch me, when I am clearly fine."

"Clearly fine, my foot." She said as she walked into the house and held the door. "Won't you come in?"
