STEFAN’S POV

I could not believe my eyes. I opened it and read the letter. She was truly leaving and I wouldn’t forgive myself if I let her slip out of my hands, just like that. So, I dashed out of my office, then went to her office, but she wasn’t there. Neither were her things there. She would have informed them that she was leaving.

“Shit!”

I ran out of the company, and then drove off to her house, and knocked.

“Melissa, open up. Come on, open up.”

Then I calmed down to listen, I could tell that there was no one in her house. Then I brought out my phone, and called Layla. Her phone kept ringing, and there was no answer.

“Come on, come on, pick up the phone.” I said, feeling frustrated already.

Still, there was no answer and I almost threw my phone on the floor, in anger.

“Where the hell are you, Melissa?” I said as I slammed my hand on my face.
