Then Corey bursts into laughter, and I was wondering why he was laughing in the face of danger. There was a ghost here, and those in a dark cloak, do seem to be the bad type.

“Why are you laughing?”

“Because you fell for my joke. I just wanted to spice up the atmosphere and to show you that I am completely fine now.” He chuckled.

Then I looked back again, but I still saw the ghost, in a cloak, and it was certain that it was staring at me, even if I could see no flesh.

“What are you talking about? There is truly a ghost, over there.” I said, looking frightened.

“Okay, okay, you know what? You win, alright? I am already getting scared, so you can stop.” Corey said, trying not to show how much fear was building inside of him.

“I’m not joking. If I were joking, I would have stopped.” I said, with worry as I moved backwards.

Then we heard the sound of a car, right behind us, and we looked back. It was Stefan, and I watched as he got down from the car. I could see a baffled
