CHAPTER SEVENTY-FOUR

HORACE

I knew Gavner hated me already, but I needed him to hate me more than he already does.

"You have your eyes on my mate, why?" I asked if only I could know what he could do for Nora.

I could do more for her than he has ever done.

And when he's gone—far away—I'll erase every memory of him she has ever had.

His gaze darted from me to his already-fisted hands. "The moment your hands touch me, you are leaving immediately," I threatened.

I didn't care if he was my elder brother or anything.

All I wanted badly was for him to leave Nora alone, but he was hellbent on getting her back.

I could see him struggling to calm himself down as he crossed his arms together.

That was the only thing he could do if he at least wanted to see Nora for the last time.
