"The look on your face is saying I shouldn't have," I took a deep breath as I pulled on the shirt I was wearing and let the pants fall to the floor.

"No, no, no, not that, you are really courageous to do that, no one cares, you know."

"But why did you save her?" Sarah asked.

I saw a worried look on her face. I knew she didn't expect me to say that, but it is also part of my responsibility as the Luna of the pack.

Sarah made way for me as I walked into the bathroom. Standing under the shower, I turned on the water, took a deep breath, and felt the steam as it started to fill the room.

"Because she's innocent and only ran into our space for a rest, she doesn't deserve to die."
