~NORA~

As I rose to my feet, I heard Lilith say something that made me stare at her.

Daciana.

Why did she call me Daciana?

I turned to Lilith, staring at her; her eyes were glued on me too.

I wondered why she called me that—does she know me or is she seeing something in me?

I'd never heard that name in my life, and I wasn't understanding the things happening in my life lately.

Why did I suddenly see a vision of Lilith?

We were not connected in any way, so why?

"Gaius, prepare a room for Lilith." I heard Horace say so.

Wrapping his arms around my waist,

"Are you okay? You look worried. Is it about Lilith?" He jammed his hands in his front pockets.

The question hung heavy in the air, like a dark cloud threatening to burst.

'Can I trust you now to tell you about my true self?'

"Is there something that's bothering you? I'm here for you." Horace had asked, his eyes studying me with a mixture of concern and curiosity.

His eyes searched mine for an answer.
