SARAH'S POV:

"Richard!" I shouted, rushing to his side. Blood pooled around him, his breaths shallow and labored.

"Find him," Richard rasped, blood bubbling at his lips. "He knows too much.” But before he could say any other thing he collapsed.

Lawn and I exchanged a grim look, our eyes reflecting the gravity of the situation. The urgency in Richard's voice sent shivers down our spines as we realized the magnitude of what was at stake.

"Don't worry, you'll be okay," I reassured Richard, though my voice trembled. His eyes fluttered, and I struggled to lift his lifeless body.

"We need to take him to the hospital." I urgently told Lawn. Without hesitation, Lawn swiftly lifted him and carried him to the car, ready to rush him to the hospital.

As we left Richard's cabin, the storm continued to rage, mirroring the turmoil inside me.
