The dinner went smoothly. Tia and Asher kept making jokes about Seth's childhood, telling me about when he still believed in tooth fairies and Santa claus.

I laughed through the dinner, but Seth sat there, glaring at me. I didn't understand, but I tried my best to ignore him.

He didn't like that I was flowing with his parents? Or did it have to do with what his parents must have spoken to him about?

Whatever it might be didn't give him the right to glare at me that way. After dinner, Tia called me aside, her warm eyes filling me with warmth.

"Naomi child." She held my hand as she led me out of the house, taking me on a stroll in the estate.

"Luna Tia." I beamed. When I was a child, I always heard stories about her and how motherly she was. I've always looked up to her, now I couldn't believe I was here, strolling in her garden.

"Just Tia, child. " She placed a hand on my cheek and I beamed.

"Okay."
