Chapter 30_ Tricked

Marina was allowed by Manuel to go into the room, when she got in and Vanessa saw her, she was instantly furious.

"What are you doing here?" She asked Marina angrily.

Marina laughed out hysterically, she was so pleased to see Vanessa chained to the bed. Manuel entered afterwards and he stood right behind Marina.

"What is she doing here?" Vanessa asked the man who was her husband.

Manuel didn't reply to her questions but only stayed near Marina. Vanessa was broken, she felt betrayed by him.

She shook her head, trying not to believe what she was thinking. "Yes, Vanessa. Manuel and I are back together" Marina finally revealed to her. She even hugged and pecked Manuel on the cheek.

Vanessa found it hard to believe it even when it was made clear to her.

"Tell me this isn't true," "Manuel " she called out his name in a harsh tone. Vanessa was disappointed, it felt like her pain returned but this time, she didn't feel it on her arm but in her chest.

Her heart hurt all of a sudden.
