Chapter 54_ Hope

Vanessa's only request to sign the divorce documents was for Manuel to rent her an apartment. He eventually did that but she left without signing the divorce papers.

When he saw the blank signature in the documents, he realized that he had been tricked. However, Marina asked him not to worry since she had already left.

For a moment, Manuel felt remorseful about his actions. He was sure that he didn't recall who Vanessa was. Why did he now regret everything he's done?

After leaving Marina in his bedroom, he went to his study with Adrian.

"Where is Vanessa now?" He asked Adrian.

"Mrs Howells…." Adrian said slowly and stopped to correct himself. "Vanessa has settled in the apartment you rented for her" he revealed.
