Chapter Four

"Bella!" Luna Diane yelled out in fear, seeing that the sisters were ready to tear each other apart. Bella didn't care to listen to her mother, but instead, she grabbed Zoey again, lifting her up in the air, her eyes filled with rage.

"Leave me alone Bella! It's not my fault that your boyfriend chose me over you! Now we can all see why, you insufferable b*tch!" Zoey snapped, struggling to free herself from her sister's hard grip.

Bella threw her to the wall in anger and she fell, wincing in pains.

"That's enough! Stop it, both of you!" Luna Diane called out again, stepping in between them, she was extremely scared to see her pups fight like that, it was the first time it ever happened.

"Don't look at me like that mom! You should be talking to her. I thought I had a sister, not knowing that she was a backstabber looking for the perfect opportunity to snatch my man away from me!" Bella growled, her eyes glowing a visible red as they glared dangerously at Zoey.

"You should be mad at Aiden, not me. He's the one that chose me, I didn't ask him to choose me. You have yourself to blame anyways! You were a terrible girlfriend!" Zoey returned, getting to her feet after recovering from the hard fall.

Bella was about to charge at her again when their father entered, only his presence was enough to discipline them. Luna Diane had been way too lenient with the pups but Alpha Darren never gave them room to be disrespectful.

"That is enough from you Bella, and you too Zoey. I've had enough." He frowned and turned to Bella who was still breathing heavily, hot tears threatening to fall down her heated cheeks.

"There's nothing you can do right now Bella, Zoey has been marked as Aiden's mate and that is that. Fighting her will not change anything." He said calmly. Bella looked at Zoey who had a dirty grin plastered on her face. She sighed and forced back her tears, nodding slowly.

"Alright."

"I get it now." She added.

"Well, I'm leaving for a while." She announced, she had already planned to leave before coming to confront Zoey, she wanted to be away from everything and forget it will. She just couldn't figure out where she went wrong in being the perfect girlfriend and it was driving her insane.

"Leaving to where? You can't go." Luna Diane said, trying to follow Bella who was already leaving the room but Alpha Darren pulled her back.

"Let her be." He nodded.

Bella went to her room, painfully packing everything that she might need into a little bag. She was going to stay with her two best friends, Kayla and Sydney for a while until she could find her own apartment.

Bella and Zoey were students of a little college in town, they went from home and barely had contact with the humans. Only her two best friends. A bunch of werewolves from other packs attended the college as well. Bella decided to be going to school from her best friend's place until she could settle on her own.

..

"Aiden.. Aiden..!" Luna Anne called out to her son who stopped walking to face her.

"What is it mom?" Aiden questioned, visibly irritated.

"What do you mean by what is it? You publicly humiliated Bella by rejecting her, after everything she's done for you? Why are you so heartless?" She questioned, still not able to get over the fact that Aiden rejected Bella. She had started to like Bella a lot and then this happened.

"Why can't everyone just get over this and leave me alone? I want Zoey and nothing can change that. Please mom, I'm leaving for school." He sounded stern and turned to leave.

Aiden had more pressing issues to attend to, he was tired of constantly being reminded of Bella.

"There's the butt hole." Sydney scoffed when she set eyes on Aiden entering the hallway. She was an average height, curvy lady who many refer to as a nerd, unlike her other friend Kayla who was hot and extremely popular.

"Look at him, he's so ugly." Kayla sneered, making faces at Aiden. Bella was standing beside them and she rolled her eyes. Her friends didn't have a single clue that she was a werewolf, that was why she wanted to get her own apartment so that the secret would remain a secret.

"He's not ugly, he's just an ass." Bella stated.

"He broke your heart, that makes him ugly." Kayla snapped.

Aiden turned to see Bella and her friends staring at him, they all glared hard at him that he quickly looked away and continued his journey.

"You know, with how close you two were, I would have never thought you would break up so suddenly. I'm still surprised." Sydney pointed out and Kayla agreed.

"I don't want to talk about it, or him or anything that has to do with him. Let's just go for class." Bella said, her spirit had remained crushed since the incident.

"Wait a f*cking minute!" Kayla's mouth hung open and her eyes seemed focus on something or someone. A lot of gasps and whispering stirred in the halls as everyone's attention was caught by the gorgeous man walking into the hallway.

"Holy.. hell!"

"Who is that?"

"Is he new?"

"My eyes have seen a god today." The murmurs continued. Bella too was taken aback by the fine young man who just walked in, she couldn't deny that he was ravishing, and she also could not shake the feeling that she knew him from somewhere.

"He's so freaking hot!" Kayla squealed, biting her lower lip like the wh*re she was.

The gorgeous man passed by Bella and her friends and turned in their direction, his eyes met with Bella's and it was like time froze for a moment. They couldn't see anything apart from each other, Bella couldn't help getting lost in his deep hazel eyes. She knew she had met those breathtaking eyes somewhere. He smiled at her and walked away, leaving butterflies in her stomach.

"F*ck." She muttered.
