Chapter 51: The Betrayal

After spending about four hours at Alexander's house playing with Austin and socializing with Anita, Sylvia decided it was time to leave.

"I really should be going now; my boyfriend and I planned to meet today." She said, smiling widely.

Alexander, who was in the kitchen pouring himself a glass of water, heard her and walked into the sitting room.

"So you are still seeing that model?" He asked with his voice firm, and a frown appeared on Sylvia's face.

"Why are you even dating that model? I see nothing good in him, and he is not the kind of guy you should be going out with." Alexander warned.

Sylvia's chin lifted even higher. "You can't say that, uncle." Sylvia protested. "I love Jonah, and he loves me too, and there is nothing you or anybody can do to separate us." Sylvia fumed and stormed out of the house angrily.

Anita, who was standing behind and observing everything that was going on, faced Alexander with folded arms. "You shouldn't have said such things to her again," she said,
