Chapter 52: The meeting

By the time Anita woke up, Ava had already dressed Austin for school, while Violet had already made breakfast. She came to inform Anita that breakfast was ready.

Sylvia was already at the breakfast table with Austin when Anita came down.

They exchanged greetings and ate breakfast together.

Anita watched Austin eat, and she wondered why he was not asking about his dad. The two seemed to have developed a strong bond.

Sylvia checked the time after breakfast, and then she announced that she would have to leave.

"Thank you so much, Anita, for all you did for me. I wonder what I would have done in my heartbroken state." She laughed nervously, and Anita let out a soft smile.

"Meanwhile I should be leaving now, goodbye Anita, goodbye Austin." She blew them both a kiss and ran out.

Anita decided she would drop Austin off at school herself that morning since she would be going to her movie set anyway.
