Eira’s POV

“Dolphus?” I called out, completely ignoring the Vampire King, who was looking at me with so much malice in his eyes.

Immediately I called Dolphus, I noticed that Selene’s eyes were raised.

“My brother is here too, right?” She asked sniffing and the Vampire King moved closer to her.

“Selene, I'm here. You left your Palace?” He uttered, and turned his eyes to me. He gave me a harsh glare look, but I couldn't even be bothered about him, my concentration was on Dolphus.

Why did he come in with the Vampire King? Did they meet on his way back? I observed his body for any injuries but I couldn't see any visible damage.

Dolphus nodded, indicating that he was fine and I heaved a deep sigh.

“Yes, older brother. I came with Eira. We visited the Wish Tree,” Selene replied to the Vampire King, clearly concealing that I was the one who brought up the idea. I'm sure she did that because she thought that the Vampire King would be angry and he might punish me.
