Eira’s POV

I touched my lips and it didn't feel like another lip had just met with it, so relief washed over me.

Okay, we didn't! So what happened and why did I feel like I was hypnotized?

Locating my medical bag, I crossed the strap on my shoulder and left the room.

On my way out, I saw one of the inn attendants and asked him if he had an idea where the man we came together went to.

“Oh, you mean him?” she asked after my description.

I nodded. “Yes, do you have an idea where he was?” I responded and she looked at me weirdly.

I don't understand why females always look at me as if I wasn't worthy enough to stay beside the Vampire King every time.

First the mean healer and now the inn attendance. If they find him so alluring and appealing, why didn't they just go for him?

It's not that he's married or something and I'm not a tiny bit interested in him. So they can have him all to themselves.
