Declan had chosen to ignore the sight of Xander and his secret lover, whom he seems not to want to be seen with in public. Even though their eyes met, he clearly looked away, disinterested in whatever his stepbrother was doing.

Just as he was about to turn around, he saw Kira would have called out for her. But he was forced to stop in his tracks when she closed the gap between herself and Xander, caressing his face.

The lady Xander had been hugging a few minutes back saw them, and she ran outside sobbing. Confused as to what to do and if he wasn't misunderstanding anything. He dialed Kira's number.
