"You forgot everything? I think you hit your head hard when you fell. That's why it's taking time to process, Ava," Amelia explained, her face tense with worry.

And she's calling me by my name. She never does this, as far as I remember. In my memories, I can't recall a single instance when she called my name.

"Other than those five years, do you have any other memories? After that incident, you lost your parents, and all your memories got stuck in that time, leaving the past," my conscience mocked me.

Right. After my parents' death, I remember everything. But before that, it's all a blank. Austin told me that I don't need to strain my head to remember. At that time, I believed him because of the blind love I had for him.

"Miss Ava, did you hear me?" Amelia asked loudly, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"I don't remember anything, Amelia. Where am I? What am I doing?" I explained, my breath shaky.
