"I'm not creating scenes, and I wasn't tense at all. That's wrong for you to say," Evan grumpily tried to explain.

"I don't believe that Evan can be tense because of me," I smiled, teasing him. Even though we didn't have a close bond in the past, this time, I wanted to mend it. He seemed like someone who preferred hiding his emotions rather than explaining them.

"It's better if we leave them to talk to each other. Otherwise, they're going to make my ears bleed," Mom interrupted, and I straightened my back. Evan emitted intimidating vibes, and I didn't even know what to say when both Mom and Dad left.
