Chapter 49 - Faith

After the day we've had, I'm happy to be in bed with Kane. We can finally relax and let the stress of the day fall off.

"Well, that's done," Kane says pressing send on the house offer email. "Now we wait." He says looking over at me. I smile and nod.

"I have to admit I'm nervous about this one. It's such a beautiful house. I can only guess how many people want to call it home." I say and he touches my arm.

"It's ours. I knew it the moment I saw it." He says confidently. "And I know you felt the same way when you saw it." He says and I nod in agreement.

"I knew it but I don't want to get my hopes up," I say feeling even more nervous. "I know it would hurt if we don't get it," I say letting him on my fears. I loved that house with my whole heart. I wish we were sleeping in that beautiful main bedroom now.
