Chapter 26

(A few hours earlier)

Hana’s empty crimson eyes stared at the white mask with an engraving of a skull on it that she was holding in her hand. The strong cold wind brushed past her pale and freckled skin, and caused her ginger wavy hair to flow freely in the air.

She then dropped the mask on the dirt ground, while still staring at it.

“…Boring.” Her voice clear and thin, yet soulless.

Hana then pulled the hood of her red cloak above her head. Staring into a direction, her irises focused onto the view of a kingdom not too far from her spot. Though, the small size of the outer wall of the kingdom and its miniature palace clearly indicates just how far she actually is from the kingdom she saw.
