Rayne walked away from the spot where he had just murdered those deadly creatures. He was done annihilating all the Coyotes, but after several hours of searching for the women kidnapped from the town and his men, he couldn't see any. His brows furrowed, making his forehead form a few creases. He clicked his tongue and ruffled his hand through his hair. The dense forest was filled with the noise of crickets and some other animals. The rabbit hopped away to see him, but Rayne was more concerned about the rare magic split in the forest, which suddenly stopped him from getting out of the woods. He knew there would be a full moon tonight, and this is what every werewolf fears the most. The full moon usually comes with weakening werewolves of their power, reducing them to nothing but a frail creature, and few could only rely on their physical strength in case of emergency. Rayne walked deeper into the forest, his boots crushing the dry leaves on the ground. He didn't encounter any more
Rayne smirks when he saw the wood changing back to its original form. Rayne had planned to do this from the beginning, but he was able to draw out his conclusion now. He needed to lower his guard to know what this Coyotes was up to. “You should wait behind the tree over there, and no matter what you hear, you must not come out," Rayne warned the women and waited for them to do as he had told them. They wanted to protest, but they remembered him telling them that he would save their child. The women did as they were told, and Rayne walked away from them. Rayne sprints through the woods towards the howling sound. He reduced his speed and walked towards them briskly, but not too fast. He could see his men surrounded by Coyotes. “I know you will never disappoint me,” Rayne said, grinning, as he walked towards them. The men transform back to their wolf form when they see Rayne coming. Rayne pulled them away from the closest Coyotes close to them and threw them away, making their backs
“So this is what you look like. The Millennium Coyotes.” Rayne taunts as he stands back in front of him. The Coyotes let out a laugh that sounded like the wheels of the carriage. His socket eyes stare back at Rayne, while his jagged teeth and bald head make him look like a ghost that dies from getting burned. “How could you? I want my face back,” the Coyotes affirmed in his deep and chilling voice, which would send a series of electricity down anyone's body at the gruesome image of him. Rayne was infuriated that this little thing could kill an innocent woman just because he needed something. He needed his face, and yet he came to his kingdom to take humans. “That's exactly what you look like,” Rayne said, breaking his resolve. “I will kill you,” the Coyote threatened with his hollow bone face. He draws the sword out of its scab and attacks Rayne. They began to fight against each other, with a stronger impact. Rayne was at the receiving end, and the Coyotes attacked

Selene’s gaze becomes blurry as tears threaten to fall from her eyes. She needed to escape because this was her only chance, but how? Selene tried to wiggle out of his hold, but the guard hit her with the baton in his hand as hard as he could. A silent cry erupted from the back of her throat. Her palms were sweaty, and tears came streaming down her face, glistening her cheeks in the almost dark room. “I will make you pay for doing this. You this slut." The guard added as he pulled her back towards his. Selene's back hits his hard rock chest. The guard didn't release her hair, and he licked his lips, feeling aroused. It was against the protocol of the palace for a guard to make out with a criminal, but his entire being shook at the mere sight of this girl in front of him. “Since she won't be dying anytime soon, why not take her now?" A voice spoke in his head. Selene didn't stop crying as she pleaded with the guard to release her. "Please,” she begged, her voice bre
Selene ran towards the woods as soon as she got out of the tunnel. She decided not to go through the city or town for fear that she would be caught in no time. She continued to run in the woods. Her bare foot crushed the dry leaves on the ground. She held her nightgown in her hand to protect herself from tripping over the gown. She was exhausted, but she needed to keep going. She looked behind her to see that she couldn't even see the palace walls again. Finally, she is escaping from the hellhole. The full moon was already in view, and this was the moment the werewolves feared because it affected their wolf abilities and made them weak, reducing them to humans. Selene stopped suddenly when she felt pain surge through her body, from her head to her toes. Though she was slapped and whipped by the guards in the morning, the pain she felt right now was worse than getting beaten. For the first time since her existence, she felt a sudden pain in her back and spine. Her leg trippe

“We need five horses that are well-fed and strong,” Harold explained to the guards. He threw a pouch full of gold coins to the guard. The guard caught the pouch in time and bowed his head deeply. “I will bring them to you now, milord." The guard replied, his eyes lit up in joy at the huge amount of gold coins given to him. The guard left them to prepare the five horses. Some minutes later, he came back with five healthy horses and handed them to Harold and the men next to him. The guard bowed his head before leaving them to stand back in his position. “Your Highness,” Harold said, showing Rayne the horse. Rayne mounts the black horse while his men, including Dennis, mount the other four horses. “Hei” They nudge the horse by the side, and the horse neighs and begins to gallop through the sandy ground. The horse continues to gallop until they pass the marketplace and some of the small villages in Eldoria. The villagers stop what they are doing to look at the group of men
