Chapter 29

Elizabeth’s POV

I lined my body perpendicular to my imaginary target. I held the bow with my left hand, pointing my left shoulder to the target, and handle the string with my right hand

I stood upright and placed my feet shoulder-width apart. With my fingers on the drawstring, I raised my bow and held it out toward my target.

“Ahhh,” I groaned as I pulled the string as far as I could.

Then, I relaxed my finger before releasing the string.

Twak!

The sound coming from the string coaxed my ear.

I am getting better and better with my bow training. However, I am not feeling happy.

It’s been two days since Hogan, and I visited the Blood Moon Pack.

After our small fight, Hogan avoided me. He ate the food I cooked, but he purposely ate faster than me as if he didn’t want to spend more time together.

Right now, Hogan accompanied me in my training. Yet, we never talked.

It hurts me so much that at the time I thought we were getting close; he was moving away.
