Regis’s POV

On the way to the Black Lake Pack, I looked outside the window with a small letter in my hand.

The day was dark.

Clouds covered the sun, and everything looked dull beneath the gloomy sky. Tonight, will be the full moon, but with this weather, the event would look lifeless; too dismal for a wedding day.

“Even the Goddess of Moon is against this marriage,” I whispered, clenching Elizabeth’s letter which was brought by the small bird.

The strongest Gypsy in the Green Forest, Diana. She is Elizabeth’s mother, and also my mother’s best friend.

“Who would have thought that the necklace had already reached its owner,” Henry, who was sitting next to me, said. “Diana gave her necklace to your mother before she left our pack. It was her gift for you, Alpha because she prayed for your safety and for you to protect the person you treasure the most.”

I almost burst out laughing at Henry’s words. It felt as if the Goddess of the Moon was playing a trick on us. She let me meet Elizabeth
