Hopeless

"Do you have an idea of where we can possibly find them?" Elinor asked.

The constant sound of water rushing tells them they are nearing a river now, and both had shifted to their human form to walk slower, and also to save some strength.

Colin looked at her, "To be honest-" Elinor cut him short.

She looked away, her eyebrows furrowed, she does not like to hear from him that he had no clue where to look for the twins. Denial seeped in every pore of her skin. If she were to ask Colin, she would ask him to lie. To not tell her blatantly that they do not have a solid place in mind, where the twins could be.

"No, do not be honest with me. I would rather hear you say something untrue to keep me from losing all hope," she bluntly said to Colin. She looked away, out into the vastness of the forest.
