The Agreement

Tatiana was pacing in Conrad's study, biting her fingernails as she did so.

Meanwhile, her husband was shaking his head at his wife's uneasiness because he could not understand what is it that she is being so worried about.

"Sit down my love, will you?" he finally said after getting tired of watching her.

But his wife only snapped her head at him and continued to pace, her flowy lavender dress left Conrad entertained for they twirled at every step of his wife.

"What is it that has been troubling you, really?" he asked her again.

Finally, Tatiana stopped her pacing. She now stood, her hands on her waist. She breathed a heavy sigh.

"Colin was out there, Conrad!"

"He is out there finding the twins, my love! I would do the same thing as a father, and you of all creatures should understand that," he tried to explain to his wife to calm her down. He does not like seeing her this troubled.
