Elizabeth POV The awful scream that came from Carly startled all of us. It was clear she was in a trance … a bad dream. Tamara tries to grasp her shoulders to wake her, but Carly goes feral trying to attack her. Thomas steps in to protect Tamara but that only causes Carly more distress. Kinsley POV I had walked off my anxiety trying to figure out why Stan was supposed to be important to me. And why a mate had suddenly turned up for him. How could I be his mate when he had one already? It hurt me to think of him with someone else. She was beautiful. Far more beautiful than I could ever hope to be. Why would he want me when he could have her? Hints of my past were starting to come back to me. I could vaguely remember another Pack. Another life. I was not one hundred percent, but I could see glimmers of my past. I could not see Stan yet, but I hoped that would come soon.
