Chapter 12: New ride

Every staff in our floor wondered what was going on and who Lena spoke about on phone. It was as if someone she knew was involved in an accident, someone very dear to her. Who could that possibly be? 

People were busy murmuring when I decided everyone should return back to their work. "I am sure whatever is going on, Lena will apprise us when she comes back" I added and watched as they obeyed my command. 

I sat in my desk and began my work for the day, unfortunately my mind was filled with Lena's thoughts. I decided to call her but she didn't pick. I had to drop a voice message for her, hoping to hear from her soon. 

Some hours later, the sound of computer keyboards that dominated the floor recently was no longer heard. In astonishment, I rose my head to see what was going on. Thus, I noticed everyone had stopped typing.  

I almost yelled at them to continue with their work when suddenly my attention was caught up by the sight
