Chapter 20: Proposal
With each passing day, Nicholas and I became more closer to each other. We wouldn't go a day without seeing each other, it had become mandatory for us to meet these days.
We mostly take our lunch and dinner together, sometimes in his apartment and sometimes in my mom's house. My mom also used to bring officer Mike in for dinner, there was a time we all met and dined together.
That day he picked interest in knowing almost everything about Nicholas, he said his face looked familiar. Nicholas told him everything about himself and the two friendly shook hands.
Today Lena returned back to work. She took both Nicholas and I by surprise. I mean, nobody knew she was coming back today. She met us in the conference room as we prepared to welcome the MountainTimes executives for our second meeting.
