The Confession

Mondrei was happy as he saw the smiles on the faces of the children that he gave free ice cream. Until all the ice cream was sold, and as he promised, he paid for it.

Fortunately, he had cash in his wallet so it wasn't much of a hassle for him.

Lany, on the other hand, was thrilled with what Mondrei did. She seemed to want to believe that he really had that kind of character, that he was really kind and helpful.

"So, what ride do you want to try next?" Mondrei asked after he turned his gaze back to Lany.

Lany didn't answer immediately as if thinking first. Then she looked at the time on her wristwatch.

"Ahmm... Looks like I don't want to ride anymore. I might throw up the ice cream we ate," Lany replied after a few seconds of thinking.
