Mondrei returned to his little palace with joy because of what Lany did. Although it made him a little annoyed because of Jeric’s participation in that effort. But at least, she thought about him so it was okay with him. That's the important thing for him.

He invited her to go to his small palace first but she refused so he just took her to their house.

Because of what Lany did, Mondrei got even more inspired to show kindness to her, that he was really sincere to change. Not just in her eyes, but in everyone who knows him.
