Ethan's words rang continuously like an annoying bell in my head. I'd replayed that scene over and over again and truthfully I was already feeling a headache coming on.

Where did I go wrong? I thought. I thought Ethan and I were close and he'd almost told me that day, if I hadn't been so stupid to cut him short, I wouldn't be in this dilemma right now. What went wrong?

Mentally, I traced back my steps. I don't think I'd done anything that would restrict him from telling me about it, so why did he just black out like that? Or was it Noah?

No, it couldn't be. He had no idea I was making my findings about his dad. Or did he? Did someone tip him off? Could it be the same person that told him about my parents coming to see me? It couldn't be. I only just decided to investigate him, so how would he know?

I ruled that one out. Unless he now had Diana's celestial powers, I doubt he knew about my plan. He was just out to make my life miserable and that's what he'd been focusing on. Funny enoug
