“You called her?” I asked , surprised to see Danielle walking into the room.

“Yes, he did.” She smiled at me. “How are you feeling now?” She reached my bedside, placing a palm on my forehead.

“Still in pain but like you said, my body is still in its healing stage.”

Armando was sitting close to me on the bed. He had climbed on sitting beside me as soon as he finished making a call to his people, ordering them to find Dr. MacKennan, and bring him over.

Apparently, he had also made another call. Danielle.

“So what’s up, Armando?” Danielle said assuming the chair Armando had occupied before sitting on the bed with me.

“She’s had a rough past. She went to a doctor to help her with drugs to chase the nightmares and help her sleep. But it would seem the doctor went too heavy on it and now she’s experiencing loss of memory of…some sort. Medically, what do you think?”

I focused on her to hear what she would say to this. Her ocean blue orbs met mine. “Have you tried remembering them?”

“Yes
