During our walk back to the hostel, neither of us uttered a word. But basked in the silence of the moment. I have no idea how Tikka feels, but I'm pretty messed up right now—this will be the second time that she is getting in danger solely because of me. I hate the fact that there is a possibility she will get hurt again because of me.

The other time when she got assaulted I felt like dying. And yet again, Ace almost killed her. How the hell am I going to apologize to her this time? Ultimately, we arrived at our room. I pushed the door open only to reveal Liana and Lily reading and playing games respectively. “You guys are back! Finally!” Lily was the first to acknowledge our presence as she sprang from the bed. “Welcome back Tikka. Honestly, where the hell did you go? If we had known you were going to take so long, then we shouldn't have left you, that creep!” Liana grumbled.
