Chapter Eight

Nakarating na kami sa amusement park at agad namang nagningning ang mata ko, like it's my first time being here. Amusement parks really excites me, I don't know why. Para nakong bata kung makangiti, but I'm still a teenager wala namang masama dun.

I could also see the gigantic rides, the ferocious scream of the crowd riding those rides, the cries of a child as he beg his mother, the happy smiles of a family.

Despite the crowd, I can't feel an ounce of anxiety inside me. It's as if I'm floating with the amount of joy I felt inside my heart.

May nakita akong stall na may stuff toy na unicorn. Unicorn, my favorite! Para akong bata nagtalon-talon nang makita ito.

"Could you get that unicorn stuffed toy?"

"Sure," he agreed and smiled.
