Chapter Twenty

Unti-unting nagmulat ang aking mga mata at sumalubong sa akin ang isang puting kisame. Dahan-dahan akong bumangon pero agad akong pinigilan ni Khael.

"Yumi! Don't be so hasty, baka mabinat ka." Pero matigas ang ulo ko kaya umupo pa din ako.

Napahawak ako sa ulo ko.

"Where are we?" I asked with my croaked voice.

"In the clinic," sabi niya.

I sighed.

"You should take care of yourself, I already told you. Are you okay now? I can take you home if you want. What do you want? Tell me."

I was bombarded with his sermon. He's freaking out.

He's very worried about me, I could see it. I could feel it. But then, I just found myself looking for someone—someone that's not him.

"You're looking for him?" He stared at me. I couldn't look at him in the eyes, getting guilty.
