CHAPTER 19

AVA:

I was really in deep trouble. If it got to Damien that I was seen with Alpha Leo, then he'd rain down hellfire on me. He'd torment me till I regretted it.

My lips quivered and my legs went wobbly like jelly as my heartbeat increased by a million pounds. I wasn't sure I could walk anymore.

Was it all over? Have I been caught for real?

"You. You should take care of how you drink around here. Someone take her home." Leo said when I was still trying to cover my face with my hair.

"Let's go. He's my chief butler. He's happened to serve us wine a couple of times, so he recognized us." Leo said and I was forced to take a look.

"But he sounded just like a woman. How come he has such a soft voice..." I was saying when Alpha Leo applied pressure to the point where he was holding my hand and quickened his steps and continued dragging me away.
