SIXTY NINE

Mary gradually opened her eyes, one eye first and then the other. She looked around, it took a few minutes before she was able get a clear vision of her environment. Two people were standing by the side of the bed, she blinked severally to get a clearer view. It was Adonis and a woman dressed in a lab coat.

She lifted herself up by her elbow, feeling a slight pain on her forehead. She looked around, she was on the bed in her room. She wondered how she had for there.
