Chapter 15
Taking the chance to relax in my 1st period class before Connor came in, I laid my head and arms across my desk. I closed my eyes and inhaled. Playing everything that happened in the clinic back in my head, I couldn't stop being curious about how he knew someone was coming. Maybe I was so focused on him and just didn't catch the approaching steps. Desire spread through me as I considered what would've resulted if the random student who skinned his knee hadn't interrupted us looking for the nurse.
I glanced up to observe each student that attended class. Susi was not in her usual place and her bubbliness had yet to grace me this morning. I checked my phone to see no texts from her still. Feeling annoyed and frustrated, I typed in the memorised number of my bestie in Michigan and sent her a quick text when the last bell rang, signaling the start of class.
To Laurel from me - "Hey, lady! It's Lili. This is my #. We need 2 talk soon. I have so much to tell u..."

Without turning towards him, I ripped a corner of my note page, scribbled my number down, and reached it behind me. Hearing a horn in the distance woke me up. I checked my phone to see only 30 minutes had passed. Glancing at the spot beside me where Jenny was lying before I fell asleep, I noticed she left. Her shredded clothes still scattered next to me, which led me to question how she walked through the lot naked. Most humans were extremely shy about being seen naked, especially females. Hey everyone! I had surgery on Friday and have been very loopy since. I will be sure to upload a big juicy chapter or maybe even 2! Monday or Tuesday! When I hit 18 I started having trouble breathing through my nose. I couldn't eat or sleep at night without leaving my mouth open. I waited until I had insurance to cover my surgery and then went in to find out what was wrong. I had the following done: • Septoplasty• Turbinate Reduction• Nasal Valve Reconstruction I can't pick up anything heavy for a few weeks. Not even my little 7 month baby. But in a week, I get to remove my splint! Yayy!
