Chapter 21
Lilith's POV
Susi skipped the rest of our classes. I was afraid she would not be waiting for Opal and me after school. If she wasn't waiting by the school's entrance, my bus would've left by the time I trecked back across the school to it. I ended up listening to my gut and clearly so did Opal as we ran into each other just before we reached the front door. We gave each other a silent greet with the nodding of our heads and stepped through the door.
Su was leaning against the stair rail near the bottom step. Lost in thought, with her eyes pinned to her feet. We crept up to her without being detected and spooked her as we chimed in unison "hi". Her face contorted for a split second and then shifted into a delighted expression. She bounced on her feet and clapped her hands together in excitement.
"Yayy! Time for some girl bonding time!" She beamed.
Opal and I shared a look and grimaced. "Yay" I mouthed at her, catching a giggle

Hey everyone! I had surgery on Friday and have been very loopy since. I will be sure to upload a big juicy chapter or maybe even 2! Monday or Tuesday! When I hit 18 I started having trouble breathing through my nose. I couldn't eat or sleep at night without leaving my mouth open. I waited until I had insurance to cover my surgery and then went in to find out what was wrong. I had the following done: • Septoplasty• Turbinate Reduction• Nasal Valve Reconstruction I can't pick up anything heavy for a few weeks. Not even my little 7 month baby. The second movie ended as we watched the devious little teenage girl look down upon her caged monster. We had very few moments of contemplation about what we had just seen when Su emerged from her seat with a stretch. She stopped the film, mid-credit, and glanced at us. Curiosity filling her face with a slight smirk."Sooo!? What do you girls think of werewolves?" She plopped onto the floor in front of us instead of her chair.Opal and I shared a look before I let her speak first."I don't know. Opal's POV Lil took the lead as we exited the basement. She peeked out the side windows to make sure Susi had indeed left us alone. After confirming Su left, she ushered me to follow her out the front door. My heart was hammering in my chest, trying to break out. I didn't know if it was fear or the thrill of fear. One thing we knew, and that was Susi, was hiding something from us. Lil stopped and turned to face me; her face posed in a half-smile. "Maybe we should check the house first? A snicker left my chest at the thought of Lil loving on the gigantic wolf pinning her down. Jealousy surged me at the thought of not getting my chance to pet the big fluff too.
