Chapter 22

The second movie ended as we watched the devious little teenage girl look down upon her caged monster. We had very few moments of contemplation about what we had just seen when Su emerged from her seat with a stretch. She stopped the film, mid-credit, and glanced at us. Curiosity filling her face with a slight smirk. 

"Sooo!? What do you girls think of werewolves?" She plopped onto the floor in front of us instead of her chair.

Opal and I shared a look before I let her speak first.

"I don't know. I feel like if you are going to make a monster movie, you can't use a werewolf? They're overused." Opal shrugged.

Su's eyes widened. "Overused, huh?" She giggled and added, "Maybe they just have a hard time getting the true monster right?"

I lifted my brow and questioned her. "What is the veritable monster to you? Werewolves are kinda creepy in these movies, but the ones in Twilight? I'd take one of those as a pet any day!"

Su rolled from laugh
