Chapter 28

Simon's POV

Before Opal and I could leave, Susi wanted to examine marks left on Opal's thighs. They looked like she climbed through bushes full of thorns. They weren't bleeding but they did look fresh and raw. Opal said she didn't even feel them. Susi took pictures of the marks for her records and asked that we keep an eye on the speed of the healing.

My sister asked her friend to explain what Connor had said and she did just that. She told her what to expect in the next few days as she nears the full moon. Things that I wished I had someone tell me. While the girls discussed things, I strolled towards the woods where Opal said they had entered. Something happened in there and whatever it was, someone had planned it.

Loki: At least we don't have to hide from Opal now.

I winced, forgetting about the new half of me. Since our first change, I hadn't spoken to my Lykos until now.

Simon: No but now s
