There was a spell set in motion for me to turn into a monster!?
When Kyla didn't respond fast enough to Connor, he stormed around the island. Terror flashed in her eyes as the Alpha hovered over her. His hand grasped her throat and I watched as her eyes bulged from his squeeze. Her face turned a light shade of blue as the blood flow cut off.
"I asked you a question!" He shouted in her face.
"We don't know!" Alexa screamed for her friend.
He jerked his glare to her cowering in the corner of the kitchen. Kyla dropped to the tile as he released her but his face remained contorted in anger.
He motioned to Kyla and Alexa as he continued. "Pretend everything is going to Talia's plan. I don't want her to know we are on to her."
Simon leaned forward, resting his hands on the island. "Have you met the warlock?"
Kyla shook her head as Alexa answered. "I have, he's cute."
"Did he know what Talia had planned?" He quizzed her as Con

Even though I am not off work from my full-time job, I also have kids home from school. Starting 11/22/21 I will be uploading 3 days a week. As we near the ending of the story, I'd like to take more time in completing it to give the quality I want it to be. I won't lie, I have been stressing myself by working full-time, being a full-time mommy, and writing 5 days a week. As long as my plan to relieve some stress works, I'll do my best to upload longer chapters than usual. Maybe even 2 chapters on each of the days. The new schedule going forward will be Monday/Wednesday/Friday. This way I can also work on the sequel for Susi. Keep an eye out for: Save Me, My Beta, My Mate Andddd........
