Chapter 40
Nova's POV
Opal gave her best effort in keeping me from hearing Simon head into the office with Talia. Her efforts were failing and I didn't have the heart to tell her to try harder. Lili wasn't speaking still and left me alone to protect us as I listened to our mate's sister gush about finding her mate. The inkling of danger nearing wasn't helping with my focus. Was it because of the full moon presenting itself tomorrow or something else?
The pretty red-head in front of me explained she heard a different voice in her head but that the Lykos had otherwise not spoken to her. The only word the Lykos had uttered was "mate" and then she went silent. Poor Opal was confused yet excited. She deserved one-on-one time to help her understand what she was going through but everyone was too focused on Lili. Not that I didn't understand why but Opal was about to risk her life with the change too.

Starting 11/22/21 I will be uploading 3 days a week. As we near the ending of the story, I'd like to take more time in completing it to give the quality I want it to be. I won't lie, I have been stressing myself by working full-time, being a full-time mommy, and writing 5 days a week. As long as my plan to relieve some stress works, I'll do my best to upload longer chapters than usual. Maybe even 2 chapters on each of the days. The new schedule going forward will be Monday/Wednesday/Friday. This way I can also work on the sequel for Susi. Keep an eye out for: Save Me, My Beta, My Mate Andddd........ I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. I apologize for not uploading today. There was a lot going on with family and cleaning after yesterday but I will upload tomorrow as a replacement. I still have another event to plan in the morning but I'll have afterward to write. It's almost Christmas time and I couldn't be more excited! It's my favorite holiday and I LOVE making it magical for my children. Oh, and lucky me, I have a birthday party to plan on the 13th too for my soon-to-be 3 year old. Hey, my awesome readers! I know I had discussed with ya'll about writing the next story about Susi but I think I want to write Opal's next first. I have so many fantastic ideas for her story and I already have the first few chapters thought up. I'm planning to write a ton of it before I publish it here first so I can have my two editors go over it instead of like Lili's story. After I finish Lili's story, both of my editors will be going through and editing the whole thing to make it PERFECT. I know I suck in some places with writing and I don't want to finish this story until they have both gone through and made changes. My plan is to have them go through the first many chapters of Save Me, My Warlock before I publish any of it here to give you guys the quality you deserve. After Save Me, My Alpha, My Mate is finished with the editing, it will be available in book format too. I plan to merge a bunch of chapters too but we shall see
