Chapter 27

Megan and I took off running to avoid the big waves. Negative thoughts haunt me. I'm terrified of a tsunami. I'm not quite ready to meet the Moon Goddess.

I don't want to die.

I haven't become strong and haven't experienced switching bodies with my wolf yet.

At least I want to die after my wish is accomplished so that I die peacefully.

I dashed and held Megan's hand. The other visitors screamed in panic and ran aimlessly.

I didn't see sea rangers directing us anywhere or calming our panic.

We were already on the road twenty meters from the sea. We pause to catch our breath, and I look out to sea. My jaw dropped, and my eyes widened.

The sea was calm once more, and there were no signs that large waves had threatened to crash into us just moments before.

"Luna, come on, let's go." Megan took my hand.

"Nothing happened. The seawater has returned to normal." I pointed to the water. I can't wait to go swimming there.

Megan followed where I was pointing, and she was stunned. "But
