Chapter 76 - Attack

Drake POV

A loud sinister laugh rolls down the dimly light hall and sends a chill down my spine. Who is there? I have just looked and didn’t see anyone.

I swallow the lump in my throat and grunt, “Who is there? Show yourself.”

Another round of laughter breaks out, igniting anger within me. Who do they think they are? When I get out of here, they will learn a lesson which I will be more than happy to give them. Then they will learn who is in charge and powerful.

A deep voice I don’t recognize retorts. “You will never get out of here. Don’t bother thinking about it.”

I shake my head. He doesn’t know that.

My father bangs against his metal bars. “We will get out of here, and you will be the first person we will find to show you how it can be done. Your security system and prison aren’t perfect. There is a way to break out and gain our freedom. Watch us.”
