Chapter Thirteen
Khloe Anderson
Grabbing a handful of popcorn from the bowl on my lap, I ate the salty snack. I came home early tonight, and had decided to spend the rest of the night in my apartment watching reruns of the TV show Revenge. I was exhausted being on my feet for the past few days, and not having a peaceful sleep during the night. I'd planned on having an early night, but my dreams were completely washed away.
I bolt upright at the sound of the doorbell. 'Who's at the door?' I thought. I wasn't expecting anyone. And I certainly wasn't in the mood for any guests. Besides, I was dressed in a t-shirt that I'd stolen from my brother Cody and a pair of leggings that weren't for the eyes of any company.
