CHAPTER EIGHTY-SEVEN

“I thought we agreed you would manage the company from home.”

"Yes, I didn't know my company would need me.”

“Can't you just hire someone to do it?”

"No, I can't, and I have to go now, see you later,” my husband said, pecking my cheeks. We agreed he would manage the company from home, but now his mind seemed to be changed.

As he closed the door, I got out of bed and headed to the bathroom to get cleaned up. I was already four months pregnant, and the doctor asked me to rest more because twins were complicated.

After I cleaned up and put on clean clothes, I walked to my children's room. I started with Kiara, who was surprisingly up and writing in her journal.

"Well, I guess someone is being a big girl, show me what you're writing,” I said as I sat beside her on her little bed, but she shook her head.

"No, mommy, you can't see it until it's published,” she said, hiding the little journal under her pillow.

“Published? You're writing a book? Ain't you too small for that?”

“I am,
