Chapter 60

Robert walked into the dining room and saw him eating the last bread on his plate. His glass of milk was empty. Kyle smiled at the sight of his father who bent over and kissed his hair and ruffled it afterwards.

"Good Morning, Big Man." he greeted and Kyle chuckled, "you ruffled my hair, Dad." He wasn't sad about it, he kind of enjoys whenever his father plays with him which he rarely does.

"That's not a response to good morning, you know that?"

"Yeah, good morning Dad." He said with an amused grin and stood up, picking his backpack.

The breakfast wasn't pleasant and Kyle didn't get to enjoy it but his dad's presence cheered him up.

"Thanks Dad, I better get going." He said and dashed out of the room when Robert called him back.

"Let me drop you, alright?" Robert offered. "Okay, Dad." He yelled cheerfully and Robert walked briskly to meet him waiting for him by the car.

After both settled in, he drove away. He was not only taking Kyle to school but driving the car.
