"Oh Miss Yrote, you trust too much." I heard him.

"What do you mean?" I became eager to know what prompted him to say what he just did. I also wanted to know why he laughed over what I told him about Nina.

"You were with the police when my men came for you, weren't you?" He asked and I immediately got the grip of what he was trying to say.

"I can't believe you trust the system like you trusted Omar." He shook his head."Just like I brought you here, I can do the same with your friend, Nina. All I need to do is make a simple phone call and she will be here by tomorrow morning. It's that easy."

I found it hard to breathe as he uttered every word assertively. I lost my confidence when I realized that he actually could get Nina's despite her being with the police.

How could I forget? I had seen some politicians at his auction that day I was on stage to be bid over. Leo was one powerful bastard. How did I get myself involved with him? If I could get away from Leo again, I swear I would kil
